Лековита крема: како се користи лековити третман

Using a healing cream has many benefits for the whole family. Treating a scratch so that it heals faster, accelerating the healing of all the small lesions of the skin on a daily basis, that is its mission. Some are even anti-bacterial to prevent wound infection.

What are the uses of healing creams and ointments?

Even if they have equivalent properties, we must distinguish between healing creams sold mainly in the parapharmacy department, which are therefore considered to be dermo-cosmetics. And those prescribed directly by a doctor after an intervention, which are drugs sold in pharmacies.

Daily healing creams cannot treat a large wound. They are useful above all for small lesions of everyday life which do not require, a priori, to consult.

Repair small skin lesions with a healing cream

The purpose of healing creams is not to replace the natural healing of small lesions but to speed up its process. This allows the skin to regain a smoother appearance as soon as possible.

Skin lesions do not have to be the result of injuries, such as a scrape. We can indeed also use well healing treatments:

  • when the skin shows cracks or cracks in winter.
  • to treat areas of the skin affected by sores, which are small patches of dryness.
  • after getting a tattoo, during the entire healing period.
  • to soothe diaper rash in babies.
  • И још много тога

Another application of healing creams has gradually developed, that of using them for better healing of acne pimples. Sometimes we scratch a pimple that bothers us, although we know that this method is counterproductive. The healing creams are then a great help to us in recreating a barrier against infection. This has the effect of accelerating healing, while preventing the appearance of a mark.

Healing and anti-bacterial care

Whether it’s to stop the inflammation of a pimple or prevent a wound from becoming infected, most healing treatments contain anti-bacterial molecules. Thus, they heal the sore or pimple while preventing the development of germs that can cause lesions that take longer to heal.

How do creams heal the skin?

Healing creams and ointments create a protective barrier

Creams and healing treatments are partners of the skin in its mission of repair. This is done, in principle, quite naturally through several coordinated biological phases of reconstruction of the skin barrier.

Still, the skin can sometimes have more difficulty healing because its repair phases will be disrupted: by a new scratch, by clothes that create friction or by another inflammation of the skin. Or because we scratch this famous crust that we should however leave alone until it falls on its own, in other words when the wound has completely healed. Healing creams therefore also allow us to make up for our mistakes. As well as small incidents that could cause additional infection or slow healing.

Many healing treatments with different compositions

There are as many different compositions as there are healing creams and treatments. They are not more or less effective depending on that. Your choice can be made because of the brand you know and love or because of the smell and texture, as long as you can try them.

One of the best-known healing and repairing creams, available in drugstores, contains 4 main active ingredients: sucralfate to repair, zinc and copper to cleanse, and thermal water to soothe. Others favor provitamin B5 and allantoin for soothing, or hyaluronic acid for repair. Still others will first and foremost appeal to plants. There are therefore no rules for good healing and repair.

How often should I apply a healing treatment?

It is not useful to apply a healing cream too often. Once or twice a day is sufficient rhythm.

Regarding the duration, it varies depending on the lesion. But continue to apply the ointment until perfect healing.
