There are a large number of people who consider it obligatory and effective to fight against: against injustice, against stupidity, against rudeness, against their shortcomings and stupidities — the list is endless. Often these are very worthy people, and it happens that it is their actions that make life better. However, it is useful to think about whether it would be more effective to use the principle “Do not fight against, create worthy”. These are, in particular, the rules:

Do not fight against someone else’s bad, instead do your own, more worthy.

Ikea’s mission statement says: «If someone steals a design project from us, we will not sue, because litigation is always negative. We will solve the problem differently by creating a new and better model.”

Do not fight with your shortcomings, but develop your virtues.

Instead of “I want to quit smoking”, it is more reasonable to set the task “I am establishing a healthy lifestyle” — and then move in all directions.
