We immediately felt that we needed each other. Both are mature, well-formed personalities – that’s why everything happened quickly with us. We met, got to know each other, looked at each other, and two months later Misha announced that I was marrying him. We immediately chose the wedding day and began, in fact, to work on the child – it was very important for us. And in the process of preparing for the wedding, we already knew that we were not alone. Of course, a new life for us began not in my apartment, not in Mishina, but in a new one.
We did not have this, they say, we will live a civil marriage for a year or two, and then we’ll see. We are ready to give each other the maximum. When people realize that the puzzle has come together and they know what they want from the relationship, why hesitate? We began to live together in the summer, in my bachelor rented apartment, a few months after we met. We felt so good that we wanted to start with something new together. So I decided to buy this apartment. I immediately understood that this would definitely be the area of Serebryany Bor. I know him well, there is clean air, convenient infrastructure, pleasant surroundings. Zhenya supported the idea.
We looked at many apartments in the area. Something I didn’t like: either the view from the window, or the layout, or didn’t feel that it was “the same”. There was a temptation to buy an apartment already with a ready-made renovation, fully furnished – come in and live. But we decided that we want to do everything ourselves, let square meters become a part of our history. When we entered this apartment, we were immediately inspired. Spacious, floor-to-ceiling windows, lots of light, and a picturesque view from the 8th floor.
The apartment, as we wanted, was empty, except for the kitchen, which contained a life-affirming bright orange suite. We liked this uncommonness; ideas on how we could beat it immediately started pouring in. As a result, we added wood, marble, and it turned out great. Everything else was bought in online stores, decor shops, furniture showrooms and boutiques. It was very helpful that they came to the apartment shortly before the wedding – the guests knew this and gave a lot of beautiful and useful gifts to the house.
Of course, you still need to buy some little things, but, in general, the apartment is ready for the birth of a son. We coped quickly, furnished in just three months. Moreover, pregnancy affects my activity only positively – this is the most fruitful period in my life, literally and figuratively. I help to organize the holidays at the Dream Podano agency, which my husband and partner launched at the beginning of the year, so I am not parting with my profession as a marketer. No toxicosis, no mood swings. It’s fantastic! I think this is because I feel very confident and calm next to Misha. He has more experience in giving birth to children. And he neutralizes all my fears. For example, when I think that with the advent of a child we will less go out, travel, lose sleep, he calms me down and tells me that this is not so. Explains that there is no need to turn into a crazy mother, fixated on a child, that you need to remember about yourself and your husband, and travel will not disappear from our lives. It’s great when you can ask your husband all the questions, and not your girlfriends and the Internet.
I promise Zhenya that we will travel with and without the child. Grandparents can always help, and there is already a nanny. Found her on the recommendations. We have already started to “work” with her. All my friends from Zhenya are shocked: they have not seen such a positive pregnant woman! And doctors say that a wife is the most adequate woman in labor in their practice. Here she is so phenomenal. We never even had a fight. We laugh constantly, with lunch breaks.
Although for me this is also the first birth, I am not afraid. The process itself is obviously an unpleasant thing, but I am sure that I am in good hands. We carry on pregnancy in the Lapino clinic with Mark Arkadievich Kurtser (famous professor, obstetrician-gynecologist. – Approx. “Antenna”). All my friends gave birth to him, and everyone is delighted.
And my daughter Dasha (Mikhail’s child from his first marriage. – Approx. “Antenna”) was born with Mark Arkadievich. He personally delivered the baby. And since I was present at this process and saw everything myself, I trust this doctor infinitely. Now I would also like to be with Zhenya in childbirth, but she is not thrilled with the idea. If suddenly her decision changes, I’ll go right in – I’ll tell you a couple of jokes …
Anecdotes to make the contractions stronger from laughter? It’s all over, tempting, but still a husband in childbirth is superfluous.
After the birth of our son, we’ll throw a huge party with Zhenya – why else should we open our own holiday agency! And then some friends surprise: well, you probably will not have time for the celebrations … And how it will be! And we invite Antenna. At the same time we will tell you the name, we have already invented it. Interesting story! But for now it’s a secret.
The living room turned out in the Scandinavian style, the rest of the rooms – with elements of Provence. We chose calm colors to feel peaceful. They also tried to use as many natural materials as possible – wood, leather, woolen pile, stone. On the walls is a collection of engravings from the early XNUMXth century by the avant-garde artist Kalmykov, a gift from my parents. The coffee table, by the way, can be easily expanded – convenient if you want to dine while watching a movie. We always have at least two blankets on our sofas – we adore them! The chandelier is our find. It looks like floating space stones. Fell in love with her at first sight.
There was no question of whether or not to be an office in the apartment: Zhenya and I are close to his very idea. Everything here is as it should be – an antique-styled desk, a soft sofa for thinking about the eternal. Soon a cabinet will appear, which we will fill with beautiful book bindings. On the windowsill are portraits of loved ones – mom, daughter of Dasha.
Classic style prevails in the bedroom. In it, we also wanted as many natural materials as possible – right down to the wooden panel behind the bed. We even made a custom-made wooden window sill. We try to buy furniture so that it fulfills a decorative function and is comfortable. I especially like that the bedroom uses unusual colors that, it would seem, do not match with each other. For example, turquoise and black pillows. A special tone was set by an Art Deco sofa – we chose the color of the walls, bedspread, wallpaper, accessories for it.
An excellent decorator helped us in arranging the bedroom – we found her in a French salon. Moreover, it can be done both expensively and at reasonable prices. For example, we have reduced the estimate five times.
Misha has to stop shopping for an apartment – he can buy everything in a decor salon! He will go for a pillow and buy a chest of drawers. This has happened more than once. In this case, I act as a deterrent, otherwise it would be possible to open my own furniture store in the apartment.
Usually the telescope is in the office, but with a clear sky, the best view opens precisely from the kitchen window. You have to sweat to get it set up correctly, but the effort will be rewarded – for example, you can see the craters of the moon quite clearly. It fascinates us. It is like meditation through contemplation.
