Experts have already said: in order not to bring home a counterfeit, it is best to buy a product prepackaged in the original packaging – it contains both the composition and nutritional value. After all, it’s a shame to pay a lot of money for a fake. It is even more offensive to buy cottage cheese in a supermarket, in its original packaging and nevertheless inedible.

For the first time, Roskontrol experts are examining cottage cheese. This time, they examined the nine percent of seven brands: “House in the Village”, “Dmitrovsky Dairy Plant”, “Baltkom”, “Dmitrogorsky Product”, “Marusya”, “Ostankinskoye”, “Rostagroexport”. According to the research results, only one brand was recommended for purchase.

First of all, the cottage cheese should contain at least 16% protein. This indicator corresponds only to the product “Ostankinskoye”. But this is where its merits end. Mold and yeast were found in the cottage cheese of this brand – there are hundreds of times more of them than the permissible limit. As, by the way, in Rostagroexport cottage cheese. Both of these brands also failed the taste test: with an off-taste and odor, mealy. Experts categorically do not recommend buying them.

The rest of the brands also have comments. Dmitrov Dairy Plant, Baltkom and Marusya and Dmitrogorsk Product are declared as products made in accordance with GOST, but in fact they do not meet the requirements of the standard. The latter also contains too few lactic acid bacteria.
