Grows in deciduous forests, gardens, squares, parks, orchards singly or in groups from June to September. It is found in Karelia, the Murmansk region, in our country. This fungus has not yet been found in the middle lane.
Hat up to 20 cm in ∅, at first, white, then, with a large tubercle, yellowish, gray-brown, slightly sticky, later. The flesh is thick, under the skin of the cap, in young mushrooms with a floury smell, in mature mushrooms the smell is unpleasant. The plates are weakly adherent to the stem, sparse, wide, almost free, whitish in young mushrooms, in mature ones with a pinkish-meaty tint.
Spore powder pink. Spores are angular.
Leg 4-10 cm long, 2-3 cm ∅, bent, dense, white, silky-shiny.
