Here and there are not the most pleasant surprises. How to quickly get rid of them and return the home to an exemplary appearance? Wax tears
Did you find drops of congealed candle wax on the carpet? It doesn’t matter. First of all, scrape off as much wax as possible with the blunt side of the knife. Cover the stain with a Scotch-Brite ® napkin in a roll and start ironing with the iron in the weakest mode. Continue until the wax is absorbed into the napkin. If the stain is not completely gone, moisten another cloth in alcohol and rub it thoroughly. Just try not to soak the carpet surface too much. Then cover the stain with a clean, dry cloth, put something heavy on top, and leave the stain to dry.

Often, corrosive traces of red wine remain on the glasses themselves. They will have to be washed manually and without any “chemistry”, especially if it is crystal. Prepare a basin of warm water and pour in the juice of half a lemon or a little table vinegar. And you can also sprinkle the glasses inside with mustard powder. Use a universal Scotch-Brite®sponge to make sure that the crystal doesn’t leave a single scratch and sparkles. It gently cleanses even fragile surfaces, leaving no streaks. Dry the glasses completely on a towel, legs up, and then hold them over a pot of boiling water for a while.

Mix in equal proportions of soda, salt and coffee grounds, pour in a little warm water to make a thick paste. Leave the composition for 15 minutes and remove with a Scotch-Brite® Ultra absorbent cloth. It instantly absorbs any liquids that exceed its own weight by 20 times. At the same time, the table surface remains perfectly clean, dry and lint-free.

If it does not respond, treat the contaminated area with white alcohol or gasoline. Be careful. Do this with the window open or wearing a protective mask.
